English improved. But something deeper opened too — a heart that had never known faith began to encounter forgiveness, peace, and grace. Emilie moved away. Life moved on. And then, in God's timing, she came back — and they picked up right where they left off. Earlier this year, Emilie went home to be with the Lord.
