Priority #1 – LST attempts to match your team with one of our LST PARTNER SITES.  LST has special partnerships with each of these sites where LST is used year-round as a significant part of the church’s local outreach.

Priority # 2 – If your team does not fit with an LST Partner Site, we have several special SEASONAL SITES that partner with LST on a smaller scale as part of the church’s local outreach.

Priority # 3 – If your team does not fit with an LST Partner Site or Seasonal Site, then we will attempt to match you with LST’s MANAGED SITE in Hannover, Germany.  Our site in Hannover offers maximum flexibility for teams with very specific timing requirements, and LST manages all onsite logistics and communication with Readers.

General Description Long-time LST site in the capital city. Teams live and work at the church building. Church is lead by national (Argentinian) leaders. Seasoned LST site in a popular Brazilian beach-side city. Teams stay with host families and work at the church building. All Brazilian staff and leadership. Cozy church family led by an enthusiastic Italian preacher. Teams stay in rented apartment and work at the church building. Intimate church with an ongoing outreach to the large international community in that area. Teams live at the church building or rented apartment, meeting with Readers at the church.

Priority #2 – SEASONAL SITES: High-priority sites receiving at least one team a year

Site General Description Invitation
BRAZIL-Florianopolis LST teams serve Readers in this popular southern Brazilian island-city with famous beaches. Teams live in rented apartments and work out of the local Church of Christ. Teams of 2-4 Workers. Any month of the year, though March-October are ideal since November-February are a high-tourist season (this is their summer season).
BRAZIL-Niteroi LST teams meet with Readers at the church building, living nearby in a rented apartment. Niteroi is essentially a suburb of Rio de Janeiro.

Prefer LST teams from their supporting US churches. They desire an LST effort of 4-6 weeks with teams meeting back-to-back. Dates are flexible.
ITALY- Padova

LST teams serve college students from one of the oldest universities in Europe. They live in a rented apartment and work out of a newly renovated building transformed from a meeting space for the local Church of Christ to an outreach center called “The Way.”

 Teams of 2-4 Workers. Dates for 2025 are TBA.
POLAND-Krakow LST teams supplement the creative work of Graceland English School staffed by a team of experienced Canadian women. Teams meet with Readers at Graceland and live either onsite or in a rented apartment.

Prefer September. January is possible but not as preferable. Teams of 2-3 singles or 4 if there is a couple.

 
POLAND-Pabianice Relatively new community church that owns and meets in a hotel. LST teams stay at the hotel and meet with Readers there. Teams of 2-4 Workers during March, April, May, June (first two weeks), July, August, September, October, and November. 2025 holidays that may impact exact days: Easter (April 20/21), May 1-3 (national holiday in Poland), November 1 (All Saints Day).
SOUTH KOREA-Seoul LST teams work on the campus of Gangseo University, are hosted by Korean staff, and meet with college students each day. Workers stay in a rented apartment. Teams of 2-4 Workers during April, May, and June (until mid-June, NOT late June); then October and November. School semesters start there in March and in September. The following holidays occur during the months when teams are invited but the university is closed – Friday, October 3 (National Foundation Day), Sunday October 5-Tuesday October 7 (Chuseok “Thanksgiving), and Thursday October 9 (Hanguel Day).

 

Priority #3 – MANAGED SITE: Hannover, Germany

Hannover, Germany At this site LST sends teams AND acts as the Host. LST connects with multiple Christian groups in Hannover, not relying on any one to carry the burden of hosting and receiving teams. Teams stay in a rented apartment and meet with Readers in a rented space nearby.
